Aria Tuscan Grill and Bar La Scala is now open

Aria Tuscan Grill and Bar La Scala, located in the Bank of America Corporate Center, 100 N. Tryon St., with entrances on Trade Street and through Founders Hall, opens today, Jan. 15. The eco-friendly restaurant was designed and built following LEED sustainable principles, materials, and construction methods. Aria seats 170 including the bar, the La Scala lounge area upstairs, and a rustic chef’s table accommodating eight guests in the kitchen. Aria’s dinner menu includes Crispy Suckling Pig with a Caramelized Apple; Osso Buco with Garlic Swiss Chard, Creamy Polenta and Cippolini Onion Sauce; Veal Scallopini with Lemon Butter, Capers, Parsley, Broccoli Rabe and Buttered Noodles; and Grilled Angus Ribeye with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Arugula Salad. Dinner hours are Monday to Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays. www.ariacharlotte.com. 704-376-8880. Aria is the exclusive caterer of the newly renovated Founders Hall.
