If you're of the ideology that clothes don't make the man — the shoes do! — then you'll want to check out this event on Thursday at The Forum. From Kitschworth.com:
Laced Up will be taking place Thursday, March 12 at The Forum in Uptown Charlotte with new shoe collections on display by Puma, Niche, BlackSheep & a series of Vans customized by a group of hand picked artists. Music will be provided by NADASTROM (Dave Nada & Matt Nordstrom) + BLNGxBDGT, Hey Whore Hey! & Kevin Focus. Photography will be provided by SmileForCamera.
Hot Spots Classic Attic: Consigned finds for the home

"Consigned finds for the home" — Classic Attic's slogan — is certainly a fitting description. Dozens of chandeliers hang from the ceiling, brand-name china and glassware line the walls, and original artwork has its own section.
Ede Graves opened Classic Attic seven years ago in 2002 after she decided to leave the corporate life to pursue her love of antiques. The shop now has four regular employees, one of them being Tara Igbanol. Igbanol has been with Classic Attic for two years and works in sales as well as advertising for the store.
