Sales / Events Upcoming: Ivy & Leo's grand opening

Ivy & Leo, a women's boutique specializing in colorful and stylish clothing and accessories, will be holding its grand opening celebration on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to the specials, door prizes and wine and cheese offerings, the event will serve as a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Charlotte. Owner Stephanie Strauss named the boutique after her own two rescued dogs Ivy and Leo, and plans to donate 10 percent of the proceeds to help homeless pets.
The shop opened March 25 at The Shops at Founders Hall, 100 N. Tryon St. All items in the boutique are priced below $100. 704-335-0077. (photo taken shortly after opening)
