Day of the Dead celebrated

Posted By on Mon, Nov 3, 2008 at 1:40 PM

The Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) festival went down at Levine Museum of the New South on Sun., Nov. 2. The event is a Mexican tradition where the living remember deceased friends and family members (with altars, etc.). The festivities at the museum included dance performances, authentic costumes, activities for children and adults (which included decorating skulls made of sugar with icing), food and more.
