"Colin Farrell, Seth Rogen and director Darren Aronofsky are among stars who've reportedly sparked a censorship investigation of the 66th Golden Globe Awards' telecast for making offensive remarks.

Millions of viewers tuned into the NBC telecast last Sunday night, where Farrell and Rogen made jokes about cocaine and Aronofsky was caught giving actor Mickey Rourke the middle finger.

According to The Los Angeles Times, 18 complaints were filed against the telecast, prompting the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to launch an investigation.

The FCC 'is reviewing the program for possible violations of indecency rules... after receiving multiple complaints,' reports the newspaper."

Let me get this straight. Close to 15 million people watched the awards ceremony on NBC, according to the Nielsen ratings. And yet because a measly 18 complaints were filed, the FCC is in a tizzy. Paranoia and possible further censorship in America ... ya gotta love it.
