Saturday, Feb. 7
Comedy: Jon Reep (left), winner of NBCs Last Comic Standing will bring his redneck-ery jokes about the South and his own life stories from growing up in Hickory, N.C. to McGlohon Theatre.
Theater: Enjoy an evening of comical theatrics with Spooky Dog and the Teen-age Gang Mysteries, a parody of Saturday morning cartoons (Scooby Doo included!) for adults only at Duke Energy Theatre.
Special Event: Get some big lovin, before Valentines Day even arrives as Big Mammas House of Burlesque presents Valen-Tease, featuring classic vaudeville, sideshows, magic, music and of course, Big Mama D at Visulite Theatre.
Sunday, Feb. 8
Theater: Its your last chance to see two fairies from Shakespeares A Midsummer Nights Dream show up on a Hollywood to stir up a lot more than just fairy dust. See what happens at the final performance of Shakespeare in Hollywood, which goes down at Theatre Charlotte.
Music: Miss school because of all the marching band entertainment? Well, no worries as DrumLine Live is set to feature a variety of rhythmic sounds from performers at top historically black colleges and universities. It all goes down at Belk Theater.
