It will still only cost you an arm to see the Panthers

Thanks for not raising your rates, Panthers! You're right, the economy does suck.

We know you're used to sell-out games, but since almost 10 percent of us don't have a job, don't get too excited if we decide to watch you at our local tavern instead of at your house next season.

Carolina Panthers fans will pay the same ticket prices in 2009 as they did last season.

The team sent out season-ticket notices this week, with prices frozen at 2008 levels. Last year, prices rose 4 percent to 5 percent.
