Posted By on Tue, Mar 17, 2009 at 4:31 PM

Short films are currently being accepted to compete for a spot in The Light Factory's 9th Annual Carolinas Media Showcase, to be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Spirit Square. Filmmakers from the Carolinas may submit brief works in all genres (including narrative, documentary, experimental and animation); the piece must be 30 minutes or under in length. There is no entry fee; a screening fee is paid to those whose shorts are chosen.

Submission deadline is Saturday, April 25. For a registration form and entry details, go to www.lightfactory.org/factory_films/current.htm.
