Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
The British alt-rock act Coldplay will grace Charlotte with its melodic rock creations on Aug. 7 when they perform at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. The band's most recent album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, released in 2008 has already earned the reputable group a pile of Grammy nominations and wins, all of course in addition to the lame-o music theft allegations.
