The Rock Hill police dont have enough to do. Thats the only conclusion you can reach while considering their request for a new drug paraphernalia law. Thats right, its not enough that theyre spending valuable time busting people for possession of pot time that could be better spent investigating real crimes now, they want to find another source of revenue, er, I mean, they want to further protect citizens from the scourge of the evil weed. Yeah, thats it. Really, people. A ban on bongs? What is this, 1970?
Heres a couple of suggestions: one, with the U.S. economy in the crapper, we should be promoting bong sales as long as they're made in the U.S.A., as illustrated by this fine poster.
The second suggestion is that, if Rock Hill police get their anti-paraphernalia law, shops that sell bongs in that burg should just do what other bong sellers do everywhere else: say theyre for smoking tobacco. Or better yet, say theyre very unusual flower vases.
