What's the best way to get a girl (Liv Taylor) back after she leaves you for a drug dealer (Kevin Bacon)? In Super - the film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2010 and is directed by James Gunn - an average guy (Rainn Wilson) faces this dilemma. His solution: Disguise himself as a superhero with plans to clean up some crime and of course, reclaim his gal. Tagging along with him and looking for a much needed piece of the action is a geeky comic book shop clerk (Ellen Page). Screenings of the flick (see trailer here) are set to go down Thursday, June 16 through Saturday, June 18 at Hodges Taylor Art Consultancy. $5-$7. 7:30 p.m. 401 N. Tryon St., Charlotte.
