The PPL, a grassroots organization that will host journalists, bloggers and artists during the Democratic National Convention, will feature some major speakers next week. Good news for those of you who aren't participating in the convention: The discussions will live stream on The PPL's website.
Speakers include Arianna Huffington, founder of The Huffington Post; Elon James White, host of This Week in Blackness; Julie Samuels, staff attorney of Electronic Frontier Foundation; Paul Geller, Grooveshark's senior vice president of external affairs; Thom Duncan, executive director of SlowFood Charlotte and more.
According to The PPL:
Huffington will take to The PPL's stage to moderate a Female Founders panel featuring Sara Garces, Founder, Packard Place, Molly Barker, Founder, Girls on the Run, Kay Koplovitz, Founder of USA Network and Chairwoman of Springboard, and Jacqueline Patterson, Founder, Sheercom LLC. This panel will focus on female entrepreneurs as job creators, and examine the obstacles and strategies particular to their success stories on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM.
