Oh the power of jewels! In The Maltese Falcon, a 1941 action flick, we see the power shiny things have over money hungry, vulture-like folk who are willing to do whatever it takes to get their hands on a fortune.
Private detective Sam Spade is caught in the cross fire after being hired to help his clients locate a treasured falcon statuette.
