Mayor Dan Clodfelter has asked city manager Ron Carlee to review a controversial decision City Council made to restrict the number of taxis that could service the airport. Council voted in 2011 to limit the number of cabs that could service the airport from 12 to three. Those who weren't granted a contract complained the decision was heavily influenced by former Mayor Patrick Cannon, who was recently arrested on a slew of corruption charges.

The White House has released a report on how to reduce the number of sex crimes on college campuses. The White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault is seeking more transparency and more data on the frequency of such crimes and is asking colleges to provide survivors with more information and help.

How will NBA Commissioner Adam Silver punish L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling for the racist comments he allegedly made? He'll make an announcement today at 2 p.m. "Expect Silver to penalize Sterling as harshly as possible. Silver said the commissioner's office has a broad range of powers under the NBA's constitution and bylaws, which are not public."

Researchers say advancements in mental health treatment and parenting education programs are the reason violence, including bullying, sexual attacks and emotional abuse, against children has decreased since 2003. "Of the 50 specific types of violent and criminal acts that the investigators considered, 27 significantly declined and none significantly increased between 2003 and 2011."
