On Sunday, Aug. 2, at 10 p.m., on the Travel Channel, the show Epic Attractions will focus on Carowinds' new gigacoaster, Fury 325, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look of what it took to build it.

From the plant in Cincinnati which built the ride's 6,000 feet of track to the water dummies that took more than 100 test rides, the show will examine the world's tallest and fastest gigacoaster culminating in host Chris Perry taking it for a test ride himself.

It should be an interesting look at the making of one of the Charlotte area's most popular attractions.
