The Hives accused of plagiarism

Swedish rockers The Hives are being sued for plagiarism by L.A. songwriter Jason Shapiro. Shapiro believes the band plagiarized its 2007 single "Tick Tick Boom" by using vocal melodies and guitar riffs from his song "Why You?" The latter song was recorded by The Roofies in 1997 and then recorded by Three Way in 2002. Read more here.
