On TV / Awards / News Idol thoughts

OK, so, maybe it's just me, but people are raving over Deanna Brown's audition last night on American Idol. I checked out the video here, and to me, she sounds like a female Elmer Fudd. I'm not into all the vibrato.

I think it's funny that one of the judges says she has an "interesting voice." Then they all kiss her ass and send her to Hollywood. Of course, various online media are saying she was the best of the night... Seriously?!?

Apparently, she has a band and her singing there is a little better...but not a great improvement.

As for the rest of the show - some good, some bad, stay tuned...
