News N.C. band changes name

The band known as Giant, or should I say formerly, has announced that it is changing its name to Braveyoung.

According to the band's press statement: "To avoid inevitable legal repercussions, we have decided to stop using the name Giant. Braveyoung will be the name we now collectively function under. Nothing is changing, we are still the same band, but this has been a long time coming, and we are finally confident enough to go forward with it. It's only a name."

So, if you're heading to the Milestone on Sunday expecting to see Giant, don't leave when you see that Braveyoung is performing instead.
