News The Pretty Reckless has familiar name to some

So, the other day, during a rare moment of free time, I started to look through the bands that are playing at this year's Warped Tour — it's stopping at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte on July 22.

I'm going down the list and recognizing a bunch of names — Alesana, Andrew W.K., Breathe Carolina, Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Haste the Day, Mayday Parade, Reel Big Fish, Sum 41, Versaemerge...

Then I see "The Pretty Reckless." Hmmm... why does that sound familiar? Turns out The Pretty Reckless may be more well known for its singer than for its music at this point.

The band features Taylor Momsen, who stars on the CW show Gossip Girl.

So, are they any good...? Um... she has to prove she's not just another actor/actress trying to be in a band.
