We always like to give you options when it comes to summer music festivals. So, instead of heading west to Tennessee in June for Bonnaroo, maybe you'd rather head south to Florida for the Hangout Festival.
Taking place in Gulf Shores, Ala., on May 14-16, the Beach, Music & Art event will feature Zac Brown Band, Alison Krauss and Union Station feat. Jerry Douglas, The Black Crowes, Girl Talk, Orianthi and Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam among others on Friday.
On Saturday, bands include John Legend, The Flaming Lips, Gov't Mule, Jakob Dylan and Three Legs feat. Neko Case and Kelly Hogan, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Funky Meters, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Ozomatli, The Whigs, Toubab Krewe and AA Bondy.
Sunday's music includes Trey Anastasio and TAB, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Ray LaMontagne, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Blind Boys of Alabama, Keller Williams, Matisyahu, Guster, Needtobreathe, OK GO, Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears, A.L.O. and Matt Hires.
