Bonnaroo - Saturday preview

Posted By on Sat, Jun 12, 2010 at 2:12 PM

Well, we're at the halfway point and it's gonna be another blistering hot day here in Manchester, Tenn. — heat index is 100 all weekend.

My day will start off in The Other Tent which turns Latin today, as Bomba Estereo starts it off.

I'd love to see Imelda May, but she's on the other side of the world here, in practical senses, and I just don't think it's possible to walk out to Cafe Where? where she's playing... However, I heard she's playing with Jeff Beck tonight, so I'll have to catch her there.

Jimmy Cliff will bring reggae to the main stage and Charlotte's The Avett Brothers will be making its Which Stage debut.

The Dead Weather at 6 p.m. lead up to an interesting choice at 7 — Jeff Beck or Weezer?

Tonight's headliner is Stevie Wonder, who will be followed by Jay-Z.

Late night will feature Clutch, Deadmau5, The Disco Biscuits and Gwar.... yes, Gwar.
