Music Menu Cough spews Sabbath-influenced sound tonight (9/21/11)

Cough The combo spews massive, slow motion chunks of guitars, grinding away at an unhurried pace, rolling along like a behemoth earth-moving machine. They deliver the goods for lovers of dirge, large Sabbath-influenced sound that rumbles amps, while paying tributes to the black arts. It’s a sludgefest and with their “short” songs clocking in at seven minutes, you get the picture. Also on the bill are Monarchist, Musket King and Bay of Pigs. $8.
