The Metric System's acoustic pop - Tonight (12/23/11) @ Snug Harbor

Posted By on Fri, Dec 23, 2011 at 3:40 AM

Charlotte-based indie pop trio writes music that’s custom-made for springtime, or for whistling along, toes in the sand, and lazing about on a sun-drenched afternoon by the seaside. Corny? Not by a long shot. They’re quite refreshing and generous with the melodies, and the guitars, either floating or chirpy, get along quite well with the words. They’ll perform tunes from the newly released EP, Watchdog. RIYL: early ’80s New Wave acoustic pop.

$5.
With Chasing Pedestrians and Corporate Fandango.
