Music Menu "Natural Charlottean" That Guy Smitty - Tonight (12/27/11) @ Philosopher’s Stone Tavern

A self-described “natural Charlottean,” this DJ has taken a record collection that started with Prince’s Soft and Wet in 1978, turned it into somewhere in the neighborhood of 7,000 and built a career from spinning his favorite music since the mid-’90s. Influenced by down-tempo hip-hop and house, he’s carved out a lane in the city and shares the joy of music with everyone within earshot of his turntables.
