It didn't take long for K. Michelle to offer a quick apology to any woman in the Fillmore audience on Thursday night who came with her significant other. "It's not my fault if someone starts sending me flowers," she told the crowd. "I just tell it like it is and have to be honest." That statement might have been made in vain, though, because when she asked how many single women were there that night, cheers exploded.
The R&B singer cruised through her setlist in about an hour as she focused on her latest release, 2014's Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, and found plenty of time to share stories and offer her opinions on love and life. Whether her music was upbeat or focused on showcasing her vocals, K. Michelle's fans were all in — dancing and singing along to every word.
