LOCAL DJS BATTLE IT OUT FOR RED BULL THRE3STYLECharlottes The Forum to Play Host as Eight Local DJs Fight for a Chance at Miamis Winter Music Conference
WHAT: Red Bull Thre3Style isnt your typical DJ battle. Eight of Charlottes best and most requested DJs will have to prove they have the spinning skills and musical knowledge to be crowned the citys best. Each hand selected contestant will have 15 minutes to mix three different genres of music and win over the judges and the crowd. Judged on song selections, creativity, skill, swagger, and audience reaction, each DJ will have to give their all to win this competition.

A couple of weeks ago, fashion designer Cigi Guzman of The Flock apparel line held a fabulous event dubbed the Public Photo Shoot Project at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille. Photographer Jasiatic took the mugshots of average folks who wanted to know what it was like to be a model for a day.
"I wanted an interactive way to reach my customers and to collaborate with other artists in the city and other business owners -- to not only market the product but for people to also experience the product and be a part of something," Guzman says. "I want them to be a part of my company, because essentially it is about them. [PPSP] is an extension of me as a business."
Well, tonight those photos will be released at the PPSP's photo release party at Dharma Lounge. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; stop through to get a chance to meet the models, the designer and the photographer in their collaboration of fashion meeting art.
