Local indie rockers The Noises 10 are picking up steam as they're getting the attention of various record labels and look toward recording their next album.
The band is currently in pre-production on their next album, which they hope to record later this year once they can finalize plans with a label. They've already recruited producer Eric Valentine, who has worked with Nickel Creek, Maroon 5, Taking Back Sunday, Good Charlotte and Queens of the Stone Age. The plan is to head to Los Angeles in July to record some demos in Valentine's Hollywood studio -- it's the legendary Barefoot Recordings studio where the Jackson 5 recorded "ABC"; Jimi Hendrix and The Doors also recorded there.
The band will be performing at The Visulite Theatre on June 30 with fellow QCers The Verdict and Athens, Ga.'s The Empties.
Keep your eyes and ears on them. The Noises 10 is definitely a name you'll be hearing a lot more of in the future.
