Name of Kama Sutra Position: The Deer
To get into the position: The woman eager for love goes on all fours and humps her back like a young doe. The man then mounts her from behind and enjoys the lovely girl while Òrutting as if heÕs lost all human nature.Ó
On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate position (1 as horrible, 10 as sexual nirvana)?
We both give this classic a solid number 9.
Did you have difficulty getting into the position? No
Did you feel like a pretzel? Were you able to do the motions once in position?
There are no difficulties and no feeling like a pretzel, so just about anyone should be able to play this game.
Any recommendations on getting either in or out of this position?
If you have bad knees, this will not be the position for you. Also keep in mind that the occasional rug burn on the knees is an almost unavoidable part of the act. A little rug burn is worth it, however, when you experience its pleasure possibilities.
How long did you last in the position?
We lasted approximately 10 minutes in this position and that was working my best to keep from finishing too quickly. There is a lot of intensity and physical exertion which heightens the experience and can reduce the length of time a man with be able to withhold orgasm.

Now, while this is a truly great position and I hate to play it down, it is not particularly an intimate position. There is very little communication and face-to-face contact which can give some women the idea that it is not making love. While I can see the point of this statement, there is also a very primitive and unique style to the Deer that can become very intimate if you experience your pleasure through your partner. I am talking about imagining how your partner must feel and what you think would most pleasure them. If you have known your partner for a while this should not be too difficult to accomplish.

What did the position feel like (both mentally and physically) in 50 words or less?
There is nothing quite like going crazy on each other with this position Ñ letting go and letting natural instinct take over and show you the way home!
