Food News Autism Aware Fare today

Today, if you have lunch at one of the listed restaurants below, you'll be eating for a good cause. Here's a clip from the press release:
The annual "Autism Aware Fare" held by the Autism Society of North Carolina’s Mecklenburg County Chapter (ASNC-MCC ) will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. On that day, participating area restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds for the benefit of area children and adults with autism.The event, which was first held in 2002, is the main fundraiser for ASNC-MCC and funds local chapter activities including over $20,000 in grants to support local teachers who serve students with autism. It is also a means of communicating with and educating the community about autism. In addition to donating proceeds, participating restaurants will display posters and table toppers with information about autism. The group’s event web site, www.autismawarefare.org, has more information including locations and times of participating restaurants as well as a list of sponsors.
