Black Bear Saloon opens at the N.C. Music Factory

Posted By on Fri, Apr 16, 2010 at 4:02 PM

The Creative Loafing editorial team took a field trip across the N.C. Music Factory courtyard and visited our neighbor Black Bear Saloon for lunch today.

Black Bear Saloon, the newest addition to the N.C. Music Factory, opened its doors to the public today, making it the first restaurant to open in the complex. (Wet Willie's is close behind.)

A large bar is stationed in the center of the restaurant, with high-top tables and booths (with personal TVs) surrounding it. They also outdoor seating, if you are so inclined. Looking around, you'll see a lot of bears. They've got bear theme running throughout the restaurant – bear crossing signs, bear photos, bear paintings, menu items with "bear" in the name ....

Take a look for yourself.
