Events Upcoming: Mad Hatter Tea Party at Green With Envy

Sunday seems like such a great day to have a tea party, don't you think?
On March 21 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., Green With Envy in Plaza Midwood will be hosting a Mad Hatter Tea Party — a festive afternoon with wine, tea, hors d'oeuvres, music, jewelry, trunk shows, local artists and a fashion show.
Charlotte's own David French will unveil his latest piece "Alice in Wonderland." In addition, Karen Smith will be showing her metal work, with other jewelry displays from DRagan Creates and Tia T. A "mad hatter" will be roaming the store and you can enjoy complimentary tea from Tea Forte and complimentary wine. Food will be provided by Andrew King, partner at Hotel Charlotte and high Cotton Catering.
A portion of the sales will benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.
You can also check out Fox News Rising's "Wilson's World" on Thursday, as Green With Envy's event will be highlighted then.

Saturday, Macy's at Southpark held its first every Style Challenge, hosted by celebrity designer and Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll. The challenge was in conjunction with the launch of Macy’s Fashion Director, an online site that guides consumers through spring trends and help them put together outfits for any occasion.

Events Preview the new Kim and Khloe Kardashian line by BeBe

Tonight, that happening EpiCentre nightspot Suite, along with The E Modeling Agency, is hosting The Models Mingle Part 2, a party for the fashionable and the fashion-minded. The fashion show will feature the new BeBe line from Kim and Khloe Kardashian. Here are some photos I snagged from StarPulse.com to give you an idea of what the Kardashian line is all about (Did you guess sexy pieces that accentuate the curves? You are correct my friend!).
Doors open at 8:30 and tickets are limited. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from The E Agency at 135 W. Morehead St.

I like when local stores pimp out their local designers, and Bella Ropa is doing just that with Hems & Hers. The Birkdale Village boutique is hosting a trunk show with local designer Caroline Black and her line Hems & Hers. The event goes down Friday, from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Check out this blurb I stole from Bella Ropa's blog, straight from the mouth of the store owner:

You might have seen her pieces featured in Charlotte Magazine but I am happy to say we are the first store to carry the line!
