With the change in weather, we can all now feel the chill in the air. Fall is here and it's time to get ready. This weekend, there are a number of sales and fall events going on, so be sure to check them all out. Whether you're looking for a great new pair of jeans or you need some fall inspiration, I've got just the thing for you.

Monkees of Morrocroft kicked off the Elizabeth McKay Trunk Show yesterday, but no worries, it runs through Saturday. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Carolina Breast Friends. www.monkeesofmorrocroft.com

Her Therapy in Ballantyne is having a great sale for those of us who love to layer during the fall and winter. You can out it on thick with their 60% off wall of 3 Dots tees available in tanks, short sleeves and long sleeves. www.hertherapy.com

The new Seven for All Mankind store in SouthPark will be taking 30 percent off this Saturday from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. during Simon Fashion Now Show, where my daughter, the "mini stylemayvin," will be making her first runway debut. And if you need more of a reason to attend, the Seven store will have a DJ and free champagne! SouthPark Mall

Come out to St. John Boutique for a Fall Fashion Presentation this Saturday. St John Stylist Donna Ann will be in the boutique from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. for individual styling, fashion presentation at 3pm. The event includes informal modeling, champagne and light fare. Also enjoy 20 percent off your full price purchase. (RSVP to 704-366-4416) St. John's on Yelp.

And finally, TONIGHT at SouthPark Mall, I will be walking the catwalk with my new canine friend from the Humane Society during the Simon Fashion Now show! I can hardly wait to show off the Amanda Wagner original I'll be wearing. All the fun starts at 5:30 p.m.!
