Six true things you're not supposed to say about the DSS hiring controversy

Posted By on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 1:56 PM

If you're pro-Foxx, you're not supposed to tell the truth and say:

1. Whether the hiring process met the letter of the law or not, the way these women were hired was utterly unethical, as well as brazenly preferential toward public officials' kin.

2. The local African-American "Good Ole Boy" government/business network is as full of itself as the longtime white network.

3. County Manager Harry Jones' main interest is always the proper covering of his own ass.

If you're anti-Foxx, you're not supposed to tell the truth and say:

1. The women in question are eminently qualified for their positions.

2. Race, as in "white and black" and "mayor's race," played a big role in how these hiring irregularities were "discovered" and reported.

3. I don't really care about DSS at all, but I enjoy griping about Democrats, especially black ones.
