Start your engines for NASCAR Hall of Fame

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to start your engines for the NASCAR Hall of Fame’s Grand Opening on Tuesday, May 11. The museum (see pics of some of the interior), devoted to spreading educational awareness about the history and heritage of NASCAR, will have free outdoor activities in celebration of its opening. This includes autograph and Q&A sessions with NASCAR celebrities, music from country act Love and Theft and others, food and more.

$12.95-$19.95 ticket admission; free for admission to outdoor activities. 9 a.m.-8 p.m. (Opening ceremony, from 9 a.m.-10 a.m., is free of charge in the standing room only.; at 10 a.m., doors open to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Ticket is required for entry.; From 10 a.m.-8 p.m. there will be outdoor activities on the NASCAR Hall of Fame Ceremonial Plaza.) NASCAR Hall of Fame, 400 E.
