Ramsey Creek Park
Paddling and drumming are as intense as the fire from a dragons mouth during the Charlotte Dragon Boat Festival, taking place annually on Lake Norman at Ramsey Creek Park. Lake Norman Comedy Zone
It's not surprising that actor, writer, director and comedian Rob Schneider, typically acquainted with his zany starring roles in films like Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Animal and The Hot Chick, among others, started out doing stand-up. But what is surprising is that he never got the chance to headline his own comedy tour, as he was snatched up by Saturday Night Live -- where he worked as a writer and cast member -- just at the brink of stardom. Schneider's own headlining stand-up tour stops into Lake Norman Comedy Zone tonight. With comedian Jeff Richards.
