Today, your faithful scribe wants to do something a little different. Rather than blab on about something, er, I mean, rather than offer my finely etched musings on important matters, I want to recommend some telling stories from cyberspace, and offer links to them. So, umm, here goes.
* Obama's the target at church carnival shooting game. If you need any more proof that Americans, particularly those of the conservative persuasion, are losing their damned minds, check out the Pennsylvania church fair that included a shooter game called Alien Attack, in which a figure of Pres. Obama was the main target.
* Meet my son, Adolph Hitler. Maybe theres something in the water in that part of Pennsylvania. A court has just ruled that the state was right to take away the children of a couple who named their eldest son Adolph Hitler Campbell.
* Best worst reactions to California same-sex marriage ruling. * Judge Wynn finally confirmed after Marshall calls out Burr. After his nomination to the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals languished for months, and his own U.S. Senator, Richard Burr, put a secret hold on his nomination, Judge James Wynn of Raleigh was finally confirmed yesterday. Clinton, but his nomination was held up at the time by the notoriously racist Sen. Jesse Helms.
