In its 64th year, The 2011 Belk Carolinas' Carrousel Parade - happening on Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m. - is a spirited festivity with finely decorated floats and a variety of participants and marching bands strutting their stuff through the streets of Uptown Charlotte. Dress warm to avoid windy chills. Parade begins at Tryon Street and 10th Street and marches down to Tryon Street and Stonewall Street. For more details, visit www.carrouselparade.org.
Folks who can't make it out can still watch the parade, as it'll be broadcast on WBTV at 1 p.m. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
