Bizarre Bazaar & Variety Show this weekend

Posted By on Fri, Feb 3, 2012 at 12:55 PM

Istanbul, Turkey is best known in the shopping world for a maze of merchandise in its Grand Bazaar - which really is grand and dangerous for those with a limited budget (Q. To buy the scarf or not to buy? A. Buy!). Keeping that in mind, a bazaar in Charlotte just sounds funny - that is, until you realize it isn't being described with words like "grand". The Bizarre Bazaar & Variety Show, happening this Saturday (Feb. 4) at Studio 1212, offers both an art marketplace and entertainment, featuring live music and DJs, a fashion and burlesque show, belly dancing, aerialists and side show acts.

Those scheduled to appear include Kinetic Beatz (pictured above), Jon Norris, Tits McGee, Engel The Elder, Mark Doepker, NotBad Soaps, Damhsa Gasra, Safety 3rd, DJ Citron, Queen City Aerial Artists (pictured below), Eric Alan (EaW) Wattinne, Heather's Feathers, Catherine Holt Photography, JR GlassWorks, StuPINdous Creations, Justin Abraham, Black Sheep Designs, One Love One Mic and more. It sure sounds like a grand 'ol time to me!
