Occupiers host their own Black Friday

Posted By on Wed, Nov 21, 2012 at 12:30 PM

Occupiers nationwide will gather in front of stores, including Wal-Mart and Macy's, on Black Friday to divert shoppers from big chains to local mom-and-pops - or to distract them from shopping at all - according to USA Today. Animal activists will gather outside the Macy's Herald Square store in Manhattan to demonstrate the use of fur in clothing.

Scotty Wingfield of Charlotte Occupy said the local group is planning to somehow support the nationwide Wal-Mart protests, though she didn't provide specifics.
