First Drip (9/11/13): Update in mayoral race, hot dogs, 9/11

Come Nov. 5, Patrick Cannon will duke it out with Edwin Peacock for mayor after Cannon beat his Democratic opponent James Mitchell Tuesday night with 56 percent of the vote. Many council members, including Mayor Patsy Kinsey and John Autry, were re-elected to their seats. Why that's good for Charlotte's LGBT community.
