Tab Benoit concert time moved... for Panthers

Posted By on Fri, Dec 6, 2013 at 3:43 PM

How big is the Panthers-Saints game on Sunday night? Enough to move a concert time to earlier in the day.

The two 9-3 teams are battling for the No. 1 spot in the NFC South at 8:30 p.m. on NBC. Taking notice, the Neighborhood Theatre has bumped up the time for its Tab Benoit concert from a nighttime to daytime performance. Benoit will hit the stage at 5:30 p.m. and will end before game starts so Benoit, a Louisiana native, can "be held hostage" to watch the game surrounded by Panthers fans.

The theatre will broadcast the game on a big screenl, so patrons don't have to leave. Yep, sounds like Panthers fever is hitting pretty hard around the Queen City.
