Charlotte No. 1 city for high-paying jobs, low cost of living

Posted By on Mon, Mar 24, 2014 at 10:48 AM

Finally, a list we can get behind. If you're looking for a high-paying job and a low cost of living, Charlotte's where you need to be. According to Wallethub, Charlotte has the highest average annual income when adjusted for cost of living. The mean income here is $79,614 a year and the cost of living index is 93.2.

An average income of $79,614? Not bad, considering how many journalists are in this town.
