Tuesday night NASCAR superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr. invited the media to come and check out his new club, Whisky River in Center City’s new EpiCentre development. Dressed down in jeans and an O.A.R. tee Earnhardt Jr. fielded questions about the club, racing of course and... American Idol? Yep, after admitting that he doesn’t watch Fox News Edge or Idol a local Fox news reporter still asked Junior if he thought the next American Idol should be an American? “Well (long pause), I think they should be a citizen,” Earnhardt Jr. replied.
Still digging for some sort of scoop (or grasping for really anything at this point, the choice is yours), Mr. Fox News went on to explain the controversy surrounding the recently ousted Aussie, Michael Johns. Junior’s response: “Are they bringing foreigners over to be on American Idol?”

With all this warm weather hitting town, I'm ready to go out and sit on a patio and find some good music... so where is it?
Are there patios in town with live music? Alley Cat downtown has bands on the patio... who else?
Since when did Tuesday become Booze-day?
There were more people at Whisky River last night than there were on Saturday.
There was the soft opening on Friday, the grand opening on Saturday, and then last night was Dale Earnhardt Jr’s V.I.P grand opening. And according to my NASCAR buddy, Jr. has another V.I.P opening tonight, and then there’s another grand opening on April 17.
In case you didn’t get the memo – Whisky River in the EpiCentre is now open.
America's largest karaoke contest had the top 8 singers perform inspirational songs last night... .
