Concert Announcement Charlotte Funk Festival on the way

Just got this press release from the local soul band Soulganic:

The Charlotte Funk Festival

Three of Charlotte's premier bands will take the stage at the inaugural Charlotte Funk Festival, to be held Saturday, August 2 at 7pm in the parking lot behind SK Net Cafe.

Bellyful will begin the festival with their blend of funk, R&B and acid jazz. Following them will be the earthy soul, funk, blues and rock of Soulganic. Finally, the acid jazz and funk stylings of Audioform will close out the evening.

Admission is $8 in advance, and $10 at the door. Advance tickets may be obtained by calling 704-334-1523.
