Why is it that the video of Michael Jackson's Pepsi commercial from 25 years ago is just coming out now? I have no idea...
But here it is. Jackson' head catches fire which led to third-degree burns and, some believe, the pain pill addiction that eventually killed him.

Live Nation is currently offering a 24-hour special that started last night at 12:01 a.m. It runs until midnight tonight — It's $29.99 for a lawn ticket without fees and it includes a hot dog and drink, or $49.99 for any seat with no fees and a hot dog and drink deal to select shows.
Also, they are asking people to vote on what the next promotion will be by going here. The options are the same $29.99 inclusive lawn ticket deal, a buy-one-get-one-free deal or a no service fee on any ticket deal.

The Rock the Bells show at Amos' Southend on July 23 has been canceled. Ticket sales are not to blame however, as headliner Reflection Eternal — Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek — have decided to do a tour on their own this fall. After the headliner dropped off, the wheels did too, so to speak.

The Offspring performs at Uptown Amphitheatre tonight and we just know you’re flying inside. Come out to Halo (formerly known as the Garden and Gun Club) for a special pre-show party, presented by none other than Creative Loafing. Oh, and in case your worried about cash, you need not be. The party — which starts at 5:30 p.m. — includes free food from The Nook and drink specials. Halo is located at 820 Hamilton St. (in the NC Music Factory).
