What were you doing the day after your 15th birthday?

If I remember correctly, when I was 15, I was personally hoping some chick from my high school was down to play 'just the tip,' and I definitely wasn't signing a major record deal, but young Diggy Simmons did just that yesterday.

The 15-year old son of RUN DMC's Rev Run saw his internet buzz from truly impressive freestyles and a mixtape turn into a record deal with Atlantic Records. Rumors circulated last week that the "prodigy" had agreed to a deal with the label but since nothing was official, the label issued a statement dispelling those.

In case you missed our past posts on Diggy, check out his most recent freestyle, "Just The Beginning" over Drake's "Over" beat.
