News Big K.R.I.T. signs with Def Jam

It seems like just yesterday (actually like 2 or 3 weeks ago) we were writing about a 23-year-old, Meridian, Miss., artist making a lot of noise and what do ya know, yesterday that artist signed to Def Jam.
Big K.R.I.T., whose mixtape, K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, had the internet going nuts since it's release announced the deal via Twitter, shouting out his grandma in the process.
That mixtape is currently sitting on the throne for best album I've heard so far this year and I personally thought he might end up signing with Dame Dash's newly reformed Roc-A-Fella Records after letting Dash's other venture, Creative Control, handle his video content and producing a lot of dope things with them but Def Jam got him to sign on the dotted line.
