Music Menu Totimoshi trio bring Zappa-evoking sound tonight (8/26/11)

Totimoshi Cali’s Totimoshi’s raggedy stop and go guitars, hard jazz percussion and bass evoke the adventurism of Zappa, but with a heavier thud. The trio is rolling through the country in support of the new recording, Avenger. The album, tautly composed by the musical troubadours, benefits further with guests Dale Crover (the Melvins), Brent Hinds (Mastodon), and Scott Kelly (Neurosis) adding their own twists and turns.
