The Monterreys break surf rock mold

The Monterreys Charlotte quartet The Monterreys’ music may be based in surf rock, but the band breaks out of the garage with its infusion of Latin, sci-fi and lounge. The band might just be hitting its first anniversary in existence, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have the skills to entertain.
