Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, who will be at the Evening Muse next week, was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. The band features Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl. I hope you have your tickets for Jan. 13!
Yeah, it's a couple of months old, but someone just brought it to my attention. Adam Lambert held a concert in Amsterdam in November and performed a cover of "Purple Haze."
Aside from getting the lyrics wrong (and no, I won't pick on his "'scuse me while I kiss this guy" switch-up — it's "Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me," not "Whatever it is, that girl's got a hold on me."
Anyway, he apparently loves the opportunity to scream and stick out his tongue whenever possible.
He also decides to smoke what could be a joint about halfway into the song, though Lambert apparently hasn't learned to inhale and hold it, or the time-old mantra of "puff, puff, give."
Instantly high, Lambert mixes up "Whole Lotta Love" and "Voodoo Chile," calling for the first one before singing the rhythm of the second. Of course, the band corrects it.

Josh Groban put together a little something for the Jimmy Jimmel Show where he sings the Tweets of Kanye West. Hilarious.

The Underground music people who make fun of the ICP videos offered up another skit on Saturday Night Live last weekend. Did you see it?
It's clearly poking fun at this:

Charlotte's Pradigy GT has released a video for its version of "The Christmas Song." Happy holidays!

Lonely Island, featuring Andy Samburg of Saturday Night Live, has released its latest single, "I Just Had Sex," featuring Akon. The song was played on SNL over the weekend and was pretty funny.
Some guy has posted a video online of him singing a handful of popular songs but adding a bunch of extra lyrics to them.
Instead of simply covering Cee-Lo's "Fuck You," he sings, "You should go procreate with yourself." Among the artists covered are Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and others. Oddly enough, it works:

I just got sent a link to the new video from Gangrene for the song "Overdose." When the publicist told me it was NSFW in any way, he wasn't kidding.
How's the song? I don't remember... I was blinded by the images contained within.
It's not for the faint of heart. It's not for the weak-stomached. Don't say I didn't warn you.

New video from Charlotte emcee, Dow Jones, for his single, "One More Sip" from The Lyrics and Liquor EP, which dropped in November, is still available as a free download here.
Shot by local production company, iLuddy.
There are articles and videos all over the Internet today remembering John Lennon on the 30th anniversary of his death. Listen to some Beatles music, or Lennon music or just take a moment to wonder what it would have been like if he was never killed and still making music today.
